After enjoying the luxurious accommodations at the captivating Château Élan Winery and Spa in Atlanta for its 2005 NATE Convention, the NATE Board of Directors decided it’s time for a return trip to the foothills of Georgia. The 2008 NATE Owners’ Retreat will be held at the Château Élan April 28-29. Plans call for NATE owners to arrive on Sunday, with meetings scheduled Monday and Tuesday of that week. A limited number of rooms will be made available to NATE owners, so only one room per exchange will be granted. The NATE board recently discussed several pricing options, which will include accommodations (based on double occupancy) for two nights, plus breakfast and lunch at the Château Élan restaurant. Dinner on Monday evening will be at the winery. “Our 2005 NATE Convention was one of, if not the most, popular and well-attended conventions in NATE’s history,” said Tom McDowell, NATE’s executive director. “The accommodations were second to none and everyone really enjoyed access to the spa and golf facilities. Owners have been urging the board to host another event at the Château Élan ever since our 2005 Convention. Finally we are able to make a return trip to Atlanta.” Within the sweeping panorama of the north Georgia foothills, just 40 minutes north of Atlanta but a world away from the bustling city is Château Élan Winery and Resort. Here on 3,500 acres, French provincial and Southern hospitality combine to produce a superb leisure resort and conference destination. NATE owners will enjoy first-class spa facilities, custom wine labels, and special concierge service. The Château Élan is passionate about golf, so it’s no wonder that the 18-hole championship Château and Woodlands courses are considered among the finest in Georgia. Chateau and Woodlands courses both ranked Very Good to Excellent on the prestigious Zagat Survey 2007. The par 3, nine-hole Executive walking course adjacent to the inn, is ideal for a fresh air break in your weekend or meeting schedule. Keep a close eye on the NATE Web site for more details on what promises to be another spectacular NATE Owners’ Retreat. |
