Linda Zibell Named NATE Broker of the Year Perhaps no other broker in the barter industry epitomizes customer service excellence better than master trade broker Linda Zibell of New England Trade. Her peers in the industry seem to agree, as they recently voted Linda as NATEís 2007 Broker of the Year. Linda was honored on Sept. 6 during the NATE Sales and Broker Training Program in Cleveland. She received a desk plaque embossed with her name and the distinction of being NATE's top broker. "Linda's commitment to customer service excellence has made her one of the most valuable trade brokers in the industry," said Fran Crumpton, president of NATE. "She has an astute knowledge when it comes to putting together a trade, and her personality exudes a special warmth and charm that has made her a popular broker among her peers as well." Linda is starting her 28th year at New England Trade, and is currently a reciprocal and travel broker. She is one of just five NATE trade brokers to hold the designation of master trade broker (MTB). "I became involved in barter when I was engaged in finding home services contractors for myself," Linda said. "Barter has turned into a wonderful lifelong opportunity for me. I've done everything imaginable - office, sales, and brokering. I still do brokering along with travel and reciprocal trade. I'm extremely honored to win such a coveted honor like NATE's Broker of the Year award." Through barter, Linda has met thousands of people and she has been involved in their personal and business lives. On the personal side, Linda enjoys spending time with her Weimaraner puppy, taking pictures, flower gardening, and of course traveling with the notorious Barter Babes.
